How to mark a book - 1.

This inscription was found in the front of a copy of William Adamson: The Life of the Rev. Joseph Parker, D.D. (Glasgow and London, Inglis Ker and Co., Cassell and Co. Ltd., 1902)
They are both quotations from reviews of the book. For those who cannot read the handwriting, the two quotations read:

"I found the book very disappointing" ' Dinsdale Young
